I have just found this crazy show, give up on Masterchef, it has nothing on this…I love it, although there is nothing rational about it or me. The quality of acting is suspiciously bad, the set is tacky and quite obviously made from cardboard, glitter, fabric and paint. The characters/ puppets are made from off cuts of fabric, bashed together, in essence it is completely lacking. But it is a deliciously volatile mix of the Muppets, crossed with daytime tv, blended with a children’s tv show. It has an essence of a Red Grooms, mainly because of the set, but with a sly nod at contemporary culture of tv making. Tran the star of the show apparently went to the Cleveland School of Art and this show was an extension of her own work as an artist. Highly amusing…
